The Youth Entrepreneurship Camp is a 5-day camp that teaches youth about starting their own business. The idea is to explore entrepreneurship while promoting innovation and skill development.
Campers will learn how to develop an idea, organize that idea into a business plan, how to make their products, and sell them in an actual marketplace at the end of the week.
Campers will receive a start up loan of $20 which will be used to purchase all of the materials they will need. When the camp has concluded after the marketplace, students will pay back the $20 and keep everything else as profit! DON'T WORRY, if you don't end up making a profit it's not a big deal!
Come to a Youth Entrepreneurship Camp this summer and learn how to start and run your very own business! Enterprise Greater Moncton will be running three camps this summer that will take place throughout Greater Moncton:
Riverview: Bridgedale Community Centre
August 8th to August 12th
Dieppe: St. Anselme Rotary Park
August 15th to August 19th
Moncton: Mapleton Rotary Pavilion (off Mapleton Road).
August 22nd to August 26th
The camps cost $170 + tax, which include all the meals, snacks, materials, field trips, transportation, and a camp T-shirt.
Open to children ages 8-12.
EARLY DROP OFF/LATE PICK UP
The camps run from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Parents who will be dropping children off before and after these hours are subject to a $30 dollar fee outside the price of the camp.
